Since the IAM Center is located in a rural area, to be here, you will need to have transportation while you are here. Therefore, if you will not be driving your own car, below are the travel options that you would have to get there:

It is possible to take a bus from New York City to Scranton, Pa. Once you arrive in Scranton, you may rent a car much more conveniently and inexpensively than if you did that in New York. Below is the information about that:

Bus:
At the Port Authority Bus Terminal, you may purchase a ticket on Martz Trailways for Scranton, Pa. Their telephone number is: 212-564-8484. Their Web site is: www.martztrailways.com. When you make arrangements for purchasing a ticket, ask them which bus company sells their tickets as they do not have their own ticket window.

Car Rental:
Once you arrive in Scranton, you may rent a car from Enterprise. There are other car rental agencies, but Enterprise will pick you up at the bus station, which makes the whole process that much easier. Their telephone number in Scranton is: 570-348-2040.
As of July, 2000, the following are their current rates for a compact car:
From Friday - Sunday: $19.99 per day for the three days i.e.:$59.97.
The weekly rate is $169.99.
Weekday rate, Monday - Friday is 29.99.
