Attitudinal:

At the top of the list is the attitudinal view we have of the world in our wounded place. By attitudinal, we mean the way the wound affects how we perceive ourselves in the world which we find ourselves. The most common attitudinal world view that is the result of the wounding during childhood is, "I have little or no worth that rests within me. The only way I can have any sense of worth or value in the world is if others approve of and love me. Anybody can, at any time, refuse or take away their love and approval of me. Thus, the world is essentially a dangerous place in which I have little or no power over my own life." With that as the essential way we see ourselves and the world, it colors what our underlying emotional state is in life, the way we behave, and how we relate to others.
